And no night is complete without talking to the person who makes my heart the happiest
I pushed wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow down the trail…
…but with so many people it only took about 25 minutes…
First, we divided into two teams: raking the mulch and moving it back and forth.
…to finish the Bent Creek Trail! Unfortunately as we were starting on a new section, I stepped on a yellow jacket hive and got stung about 5 or 6 times. We were swarmed! A trip to the Health Center at UNCA was necessary and I was super loopy because I took Benadryl when we decided to go to lunch.
With this view, I just feel like I’m at summer camp.
Biscuit Head is a cute little restaurant outside of campus…
…that serves biscuits that are literally the size of a small child’s head. Or a cat’s head.
I don’t even feel like I’m in college.
I thought that the Bee Charmer shop was ironic, especially because when I walked by I was limping and my whole leg was pulsing from the stings of BEES.
After lunch we were turned loose downtown and I went shopping! Chevron Trading Post was the coolest store. Soooo many beads!
Finally, we met up with everyone in the pre-rendezblue program at Camp Rockmont in Black Mountain, N.C.
