Getting to Know: The Always Believer

I’m back! Thanks so much for being patient while I was in Hawaii for a little while. Here’s a guest post from The Always Believer, and check back tomorrow for a review of Kualoa Ranch, a beautiful place I went to in Oahu!

Getting to Know (7)

What’s your blog’s name, and why? My blog name is The Always Believer because it is the spark that has always kept me going. Ever since I could remember, I’ve always said “Always Believe.” No matter how deep I was, no matter how far I felt, this sentence kept me going. It means to believe in something that you believe in, that there is always a way out and that there is always a reason to keep going. You’ve got to Always Believe and from that moment on, do. And that is how everything got started. Because we are all Always Believers. You know, it really starts by believing… No matter how much I´ve talked to people all around the world, we all have one thing in common, we start by believing.  No matter what idea we have in mind, the first thing that comes is the thought, then the confidence in believing in ourselves. And after that, continue it and do it.  And in reality, it is a great reminder that we are all always believers. One way or another, we always believe in something.

The Always Believer B1

How long have you been blogging? I’ve been blogging for years here, there and everywhere. Now, on this page since January 2014. It had a good run for most of the year, then I slowed down due to life. Up and running since January 2015 much better than before and still doing what I can to keep it going as much as I can. Life still happens, I still work day jobs, nonetheless, whatever spot I find, I use it to write and continue creating my page as much as I can. I tend to rush home to continue writing, or even write in my few breaks here and there. My brain is on all the times and I find inspiration in everything and anything I do. Taking advantage of that, even if it just a quick shot of something I love to then edit it, it goes right up. It is my constant, every day, love.

Fill in the blank: When I’m not blogging, I am… enjoying life as much as I can. You can see me spending quality time with my family and friends. You can see me volunteering at an animal shelter and with foster kids. You can see me beach side, dancing and taking pictures all the time. Above all, spreading as much as I can through smiles, constant hugs and positive thoughts.

What’s one thing about your blog that makes you proud? People’s comments and feedback to my posts and most of all, my movement #GoDoFly. All the support from all those around the world make my day. Those encouraging words help me keep going strong every day too. As I receive those comments, it means that all the hard work I put in every chance I get pays off. Overall, I love spreading the love as far as wide and as far as possible and thanks to this movement and page I´ve created, it is happening right before my eyes. It really is hard to believe that my thoughts, my feel good vibe, my designs and even my movement is being seen around the world. And from the moment anything goes up, there is an immediate reaction of people liking and commenting. Not only because it gets people´s attention, it gets them thinking and feel better about themselves. I love having that outcome, for them to know that together, we are one. And by sharing it through my page, it build up that community even more.

Those who read Always, S can click over to your blog to find… motivational posts, real stories to inspire you, innovative designs and tons of love.  Anything that the reader wants to share usually gets post up. From speaking out the truth about our society to appreciating the people around you, you are able to express yourself. Most of all, a safe and friendly environment for you to share your thoughts, dreams, choices and most of all, your story.

Three random facts: I love giving random gifts to my family and friends every chance I get. I love stuffed animals and still sleep with a few of them. My biggest goal is to create my own company to help others all around the world in any way I can.

Summer must-haves include the beach, photography, yoga, laughter, dancing and at every single moment, friends. I can’t really say what objects I need to have all summer long… just rather focus on the moment and the company.

If you had to be stranded on a deserted island with one person who would you want that one person to be? This is a difficult question, the first person that popped into my mind is my sister. We barely get to spend any time together, so this way at least we would be together in the same place at the same time. And even more so, together we would be able to figure out a way to get out. She is my rock and my best friend, what more can I ask for?

Furthest you’ve traveled from your home? Considering that the world is my home, the furthest I’ve been is everywhere. From Spain to Venezuela, from Prague to New York…

Mountains or beach? Beach, without a doubt. Always and forever.  Anyone and everyone who knows me, knows it is the beach , hands down, every single time. Now, if we can have the mountains near the beach, that is also something I adore and would love to live close to.

Your dream job? My dream job is creating my own business in order to help others as much as I can. Either though an NGO or any other movement I am able to create. I’d love to continue writing and designing. I’d love to continue spreading inspirational stories and making the world a better place in any way I can.

Who or what inspires you? People who always get up after hard times. People who keep being happy and positive, through thick and thing. As it is a choice, rather than an ending. If you choose to spread the love, then I am inspired by you. Also anything, everything and whatever makes me smile along the way. Such as friends laughing, dogs running, children playing, loving couples, polite store attendants, random strangers who smile, the smell of the sea, the view of the city and so on. I feel like we all help each other out in the most simplest way possible, through our thoughts, opinions and smiles. If you are able to see the positive side, no matter how small it may be, then good for you. I am inspired. Get up, get dressed and go for it. It is a state of mind, so do it.

Fill in the blank: I can’t stop listening to..oldies! I have loved the oldies since forever.  I adore music, it is in me. It´s on all the time, or at least, a good percentage of it. And those happy feel good songs are always there on my playlist. Apart from music, I can´t stop listening to my friends laughing at any of my get-togethers, my kids playing, water splashing from inside the pool or the sea, my brother singing…. as stated above, anything that makes me smile.

Your favorite post from your blog: My story of #GoDoFly since it is where the journey started. Not only starting the movement, yet also opening my doors by exposing myself and letting you in. It was a pretty big step for me because no matter how many views I´ve got, it still went online. As part of a healing process, as part of starting a brand new book. I hold this movement dear to my heart, so whatever I write in it, I pour my heart out. And well as the many stories that are up. It was the first step forward to something big. And another quick inside look, W is  It is one of my favorites because it expresses exactly who I am.
