Confetti Talk: Tiffani

Confetti Talk is a new series on Always, S that introduces you to some of my big blogging inspirations! You’ll learn all about what they do, what makes them happy, and how they stay happy. And be prepared for a whole lotta PINK. Real people, real happy. Throwing kindness around like confetti.

Who are you?

I’m Tiffani, and I’m from deep in the heart of Texas! Is that corny? I was born and raised in Dallas, and I’ve lived here ever since. I’m definitely the wearer of many hats. I’m a student, and a nanny, and of course, a blogger!

What makes you happy?

There are so many things that make me happy. I don’t even know where to begin. Thomas, my boyfriend makes me happy. My dog, Sophie makes me happy, rainy days, baseball games. It’s the small stuff really!

What is one thing you would tell your high school self?

If I could tell my high school self one thing, it’d be to just keep going, and don’t look back. In high school I spent so much time worrying about what had happened the week before, or what my friends were doing, or where my boyfriend was, I forgot to enjoy things for JUST myself. So hey, high school Tiffani- worry about YOU and don’t worry about anything else.

What is one thing you use on a daily basis that you can’t live without?

I hate to say this, but the thing I use every day, that I definitely couldn’t live without, would be my laptop. Unless I am on vacation, the thing is never far from me. To me, my laptop is so much more than just a hunk of metal, which might have been why I had such a hard time letting go of my old one. I have so many uses for my laptop, & with the industry I plan to go in to, I don’t see that changing any time soon!

How do you stay positive when you’re stressed out?

It’s funny, I really used to be a negative Nancy. When things would get bad i’d just crumble. Now, anytime I start to get stressed out I throw on my tennis shoes and go for a walk or a jog with my dog, WITHOUT my headphones. If I’m stressed, I think it’s so nice to just walk, and not have the music or distractions of someone else walking with me. Just to feel the breeze, and think about the way the trees are blowing or the way the flowers are colored. That, or getting a pedicure! Who doesn’t love having someone massage their toes while sipping some wine?

For what in your life do you feel most grateful? How do you show that gratitude?

I think I feel most grateful for love. Totally cliche, but I think it totally hit me just how loved I am after I reached out to a ton of other bloggers and they showed me some serious love! I know Thomas loves me, and my family, and of course my pooch, but I love the feeling of being loved. And I am so thankful to have a great support system in all aspects of life to feel the love!

What kind of legacy do you want to leave?

I want to leave a legacy that is remembered. Wether it be with my family or through my professional career! So many people want to leave something fabulous behind, I just want to leave something that will be remembered!

When you’re 100, what will matter to you the most?

When I’m 100, I have a feeling my family is what is going to matter the most to me. That, comfy shoes, and what dessert I’m eating- I am positive I still wont be able to pass up a good dessert!

Why Tiffani inspires me: I met Tiffani through a Facebook group (as I did most of my blogger friends!) and we bonded over high school and boy stories. She’s SO freakin’ crafty and I love seeing all of her DIY work! She’s in the middle of planning something big for bloggers and she’s handled it so far with such patience and grace. I can’t wait to see where Savvy Southern Belle takes her.

I like how she said she doesn’t use her headphones when she goes on a walk. Mine actually broke the other day, so I’ve been walking without them and it’s so nice just to take in the world around you! Great interview!
