7 Beauty Must-Haves + GIVEAWAY!

Hey! Today I’m talking makeup and skin care must-haves. Keep reading for an AWESOME giveaway!

1: L’Oreal Paris Magic Smooth Souffle Blush is my favorite because its so much more natural looking than powder blush. It feels so smooth and its super easy to apply.

2: I don’t go anywhere without curling my eyelashes and putting on mascara. I got mine (shown above) from Sephora, but this Professional Eyelash Curler is similar. I was SHOCKED when my friends in high school didn’t curl their eyelashes with heat — as in, they don’t warm the curler with the hair dryer before they use it…what?! Do any of you skip the heat?! This is news to me!!!

3: Maybelline New York The Falsies Mascara: I’m not too picky when it comes to mascara – I’ll use anything! I will say though that I’ve been really impressed with Maybelline’s mascaras. I think I’m going to use them for a while!

4: Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight and Fade Gel is a LIFESAVER. I repeat: LIFE. SAVER. If you are considering getting anything from this list, get this. Whenever I feel a bump on my face coming up, or if I wake up in the morning with a pimple, I put a little bit of this on the spot and its gone in a couple of days. It’s MAGIC!

5: Whether its Moisture Surge Intense or Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief , Clinique is my go-to for moisturizer. I put this on before I go to sleep, when I wake up in the morning, and after I take a shower.

6: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy is exactly what it says: lip therapy. Its a really thick moisturizing sorta lip balmy thing (super good at describing this, huh?) and I put it on before I go to bed each night, when I wake up in the morning, and after I shower. If you haven’t guessed already, I’m a big fan of moisturizer. I have really bad eczema and since I also have some on my mouth, chapstick won’t make it go away – its just a temporary fix. So I have to use prescription medication when it gets really cold outside, but for my mouth, this lip therapy works just fine.

7: Finally, something I definitely should’ve added to my Outdoor/Road Trip Must-Haves post: Evian Face Spray. “Evian® Natural Mineral Water’s journey starts as rain and snow high atop the French Alps after which it filters for over 15 years through glacial rock and sand to a deep underground catchment just outside the town of Evian-Les-Bains, France. The water contained in the spray is tested 300 times per day to insure quality and the consistent unique mineral content guaranteed to be the same year after year canister to canister. No other water has the same mineral content. ”

Yeah, I know. Its awesome.

Speaking of awesome, its GIVEAWAY TIME!

  • I pretty much never curl my eyelashes even though I know it’s probably a great beauty step…I just don’t really notice the difference. Maybe if I heated the eyelash curler first it would work better…thanks for the tip! (:

I LOVE MY EYELASH CURLER! I only started using one this summer and I can’t believe the difference I notice in my eyelashes. Even if I don’t get to do a full face of makeup, I always look more awake and ready for the day with my eyelashes curled.

    Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  • I hadn’t heard of heating the eyelash curler before curling until about 1.5 years ago- what a game changer! My eyelashes are long, but straight, so that makes a huge difference for me. I also just recently discovered spray water through my Birchbox. It’s awesome, I’ll have to try out the Evian for sure!

    • Savannah Ward

I want to try out Birchbox so badly! I’ll definitely have to check it out.

  • I never curl my eyelashes, and my friends find it weird! I just have a natural curl so I don’t really have to worry about it! I’ve always wanted to try one of those blushes! I’m happy to hear something positive about them!

The blushes are amazing! And they don’t feel so cakey on your cheeks like powder blushes do. Thanks for commenting!

  • What a great giveaway! I want to start using an eyelash curler. I also love reading people’s makeup essentials.

    • Savannah Ward

Thanks so much! I totally recommend the curler, can’t wait for you to see the difference! :]

  • It sounds like the Rapid Clear is something I need in my life!

    • Savannah Ward

It’s something EVERYBODY needs – its amazing. 10000% recommend.

  • I might just need to check out the rapid clear gel – I’m constantly needing spot treatment! I’ve got an eyelash curler but I hardly ever use it, although I have to say heating it up before use makes a HUGE difference! Problem is I usually hate pulling my hairdryer out hahah. Thanks for offering such a great giveaway!
